Here’s the challenge:
Build an ecommerce site. That will cohesively accommodate an expansive and incongruous range of products (from TVs to baby bottles). Make it a flagship experience. Scalable for different product markets in other countries. And translatable. Have it done in an unreasonably short time-frame. Without content. And, without established business requirements. On an inadequate technology platform. Ok? Go.
Over a year and a half, I was a part of a small five-person team (with insanely smart and talented people) that defined, launched, and optimized this ecommerce solution. Competitive analysis, user research, rapid prototyping, QA testing, site refinement, marketing support… epic Air Gun wars… we did it all.
Also, we received a nifty, little Gold iF Award for Communication Design.
